| The smooth, plated surface on these pliers protect against marring of work. They can be used when working with very delicate materials such as string, cloth, gold, silver, soft brass, copper and any other material that would become ruined by rougher surfaces. Plated jaws resist adhesion of soft materials (no sticking of copper to pliers) and can e used for burnishing. All pliers have smooth jaws and box joints. |
